Building Construction Engineer – All Levels – Sydney

About the role

Richard Crookes Constructions is expanding its Sydney project teams and is looking for building construction engineers at all seniority levels. The positions are site‑focused, offering hands‑on delivery across complex health, education and commercial projects valued between $100m and $450m+.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of building construction projects from early works through to completion.
• Manage subcontractors and coordinate on‑site works.
• Assist with program management, quality assurance and cost control.
• Handle RFIs, variations, progress claims and reporting.
• Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications and safety requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors and the broader delivery team.

Required profile

• Degree‑qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in building construction (site engineer, project engineer or senior project engineer roles).
• Comfortable working on live construction sites in fast‑paced environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Willingness to relocate to Sydney for long‑term opportunities.
