Workplace Experience Officer

About the role

The Workplace Experience Officer will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors and employees in Aurecon’s Auckland office. This full‑time, on‑site role focuses on creating an inclusive, welcoming environment and delivering memorable experiences across the workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Anticipate and fulfil the needs of clients, visitors and staff to ensure a seamless experience.
• Support a busy events calendar, including DEI initiatives, Limelight events and monthly socials, handling catering, logistics and stakeholder coordination.
• Maintain office facilities by organising maintenance, security passes, lockers and repairs.
• Collaborate with the Workplace Experience Coordinator and the wider New Zealand Workplace team to keep communication channels current.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve client and employee experience.
• Manage day‑to‑day office operations such as inventory, mailroom duties, fleet assistance and general administration.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with internal stakeholders and undertake ad‑hoc tasks as required.

Required profile

• Genuine passion for workplace experience and customer service.
• Proven experience in a customer‑focused role, preferably with event‑planning exposure.
• Strong administrative abilities, quick to learn new systems and manage competing priorities.
• Adaptable, resilient team player who thrives in a fast‑paced, people‑centric environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid New Zealand driver’s licence.
