Website Support Analyst – Fixed‑Term (Entry Level)

About the role

Stats NZ is looking for a Website Support Analyst to join its website redevelopment project. This entry‑level, fixed‑term position will help prepare, review, configure, test and process content for the new site, ensuring migrated information is accurate, well‑structured and easy to find.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review website content before migration.
• Configure and test content within the new CMS environment.
• Process and tag metadata to support search and navigation.
• Document issues, follow test plans and report findings.
• Collaborate with project, change, data and communications teams.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification, ongoing study, or equivalent experience.
• Confidence using everyday office technology and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication with good reading comprehension.
• High attention to detail, analytical mindset and ability to document issues clearly.
• Willingness to learn, ask questions and work both independently and under supervision.
• Positive, collaborative approach to team work.
• Interest in data, digital content or website usage; prior CMS experience (e.g., Drupal) is a plus.
