Web Application Engineer - AI Trainer

About the role

We are seeking a Web Application Engineer to join DataAnnotation’s coding team as an AI Trainer. In this remote, contract position you will work directly with cutting‑edge AI models, creating and solving coding challenges that help improve the systems that power intelligent applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement diverse coding problems, with a focus on Android development, to train AI models.
• Write clear, high‑quality code snippets and accompanying explanations.
• Review AI‑generated code for correctness, performance, and readability, providing detailed feedback.
• Analyze results and visualise data to inform model improvements.

Required profile

• Fluent English (native or bilingual level).
• Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in a relevant field.
• Prior experience as a software developer, coder, or programmer.

Required skills

• Kotlin (preferred).
• Proficiency in at least one of: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Swift.
• Strong written communication and grammar skills.
