Warehouse Team Leader – Day Shift (East Auckland)

About the role

Vitaco is seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to manage the day‑shift (6:00 am‑2:30 pm) at its East Auckland facility. The role involves hands‑on leadership of a team of 11‑15 staff, ensuring safe, efficient and on‑time warehouse operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and motivate the day‑shift team on the warehouse floor.
• Maintain health, safety, quality and compliance standards, reporting risks and incidents.
• Oversee daily picking and inbound activities to meet delivery targets.
• Support inbound operations when required and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Drive continuous improvement using Kaizen tools such as 5 Why, 5S, Gemba walks and toolbox talks.
• Conduct regular performance conversations and toolbox sessions (MBU1).

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing both inbound and outbound processes.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration and decision‑making abilities.
• Commitment to safety, quality and developing team members.

Required skills

• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and ERP platforms (SAP, NAV preferred).
