Warehouse Storeperson Inwards – Driver – Afternoon Shift (2pm‑10:30pm)

About the role

Vitaco is seeking an experienced Class 4 Driver/Warehouse Operator to join its logistics team. The position is primarily focused on operating transit trucks between Vitaco facilities (approximately 80% of the time) and supporting fast‑paced warehouse activities during the afternoon shift.

Key responsibilities

• Drive Vitaco transit trucks between warehouse, distribution centre and manufacturing sites.
• Load, unload and secure stock and pallets safely.
• Complete pre‑start vehicle checks and maintain transport documentation.
• Ensure accurate and on‑time deliveries and transfers with correct paperwork.
• Operate Class 2‑4 vehicles in compliance with company and legal requirements.
• Use RF scanners and the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for inventory tasks.
• Perform picking, replenishment, put‑away and dispatch duties.
• Operate reach trucks, counterbalance forklifts and stock pickers as needed.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe warehouse practices, including manual handling of items up to 25 kg.
• Meet daily KPIs and operational deadlines.

Required profile

• Current NZ Class 4 driver licence (essential).
• Minimum 2 years of truck driving experience in a transport, warehousing or distribution environment.
• Strong understanding of transport safety, load security and compliance.
• Reliable attendance, time‑management and a safety‑first mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
