Warehouse Operative – Long Term Position

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative for a long‑term position. The role involves supporting day‑to‑day warehouse activities, ensuring accurate stock handling and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems.
• Perform regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Operate a forklift safely in accordance with licence requirements.
• Follow health and safety procedures and promote a safe workplace.
• Use computer systems for data entry and reporting.

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Adaptable, flexible and able to respond to changing priorities.
• Excellent time‑management and organisational skills.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Proven ability to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and customers.

Required skills

• Current Forklift Licence.
• Strong computer literacy and keyboard skills.
• Good knowledge of health and safety practices.
