Warehouse Assistant – Inwards (Mon‑Fri)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Warehouse Assistant to join the Inwards team at our Islington warehouse in Christchurch. The role is full‑time, Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, supporting the receipt and processing of incoming stock for a pet‑product retailer.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, unload and verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders.
• Label, sort and store products in the appropriate locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using the warehouse management system.
• Ensure the warehouse area remains clean, safe and organized.
• Assist with cycle counts and stock reconciliation as needed.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Physical stamina to lift and move boxes throughout the shift.
• Team‑oriented attitude with a willingness to support colleagues.
• Reliability and punctuality for the fixed shift schedule.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy for data entry in the warehouse system.
