Vice President of Technology

About the role

We are seeking a Vice President of Technology to define and execute the technical vision for Aurogenic’s geothermal‑brine mineral recovery platform. The role will guide the transition from pilot demonstrations to full commercial deployment, working closely with senior leadership, investors and global geothermal partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the technology roadmap, steering the process from pilot to commercial scale.
• Lead intellectual property strategy, including patent filing and freedom‑to‑operate analysis.
• Direct technical due diligence for fundraising and strategic partnerships.
• Oversee feasibility studies, bankable technical packages and process intensification initiatives.
• Build, recruit and mentor a high‑performance engineering and science team.
• Manage relationships with geothermal operators, research institutions and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure delivery of pilot, demonstration and commercial milestones on schedule and budget.
• Supervise the technology stack – process design, automation, analytics, mobile pilot systems – and guarantee cybersecurity, data governance and compliance.

Required profile

• Deep expertise in process engineering, mineral processing or hydrometallurgy.
• Proven track record scaling physical‑process technologies from pilot to commercial operation.
• Strong commercial orientation with experience in capital‑intensive projects.
• Exceptional leadership and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
