Venue Manager – Luxury Hotel & Rooftop Restaurant

About the role

QT Hotels & Resorts is launching a new 5‑star hotel in Queenstown with a flagship rooftop and Notch venue. We are seeking a dynamic Venue Manager to shape the guest experience, lead the front‑of‑house team and ensure operational excellence from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute the full restaurant experience, from concept through service.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, F&B and Events to drive innovative ideas and revenue growth.
• Recruit, train and inspire a high‑performing Front‑of‑House team focused on service, performance and fun.
• Maintain exceptional standards across floor operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences.
• Oversee POS systems, cost control, stock management and compliance with WHS and food safety regulations.
• Be visible on the floor during peak periods, setting the tone for excellence.
• Champion a culture of cleanliness, safety and sustainability.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
• Current Bar Manager’s License and professional presentation.
• Strong leadership, confidence, warmth and integrity.
• Excellent communication and calm, solutions‑focused approach under pressure.
• Proactive “make it happen” mindset with a desire to grow.
