About the role
Manukau Toyota is seeking an experienced Used Vehicle Sales Manager to lead a high‑performing used‑car department. You will be responsible for driving sales, profitability and customer satisfaction while managing stock acquisition and inventory strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a dedicated used‑vehicle sales team.
- Drive sales performance, gross profit and customer satisfaction targets.
- Oversee stock acquisition, vehicle appraisals, pricing and inventory turnover.
- Maintain strong industry relationships to support sourcing and trading activities.
- Ensure vehicle presentation, merchandising and forecourt standards are upheld.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to shape and execute sales strategies.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to keep the department competitive.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading a successful used‑vehicle sales operation.
- Strong trading ability with deep market knowledge.
- Demonstrated capability to coach and motivate sales teams.
- Commercially astute with solid stock management and pricing expertise.
- Highly organised with excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Energetic, hands‑on and driven to succeed in a fast‑paced environment.
