About the role

Harmony Auto is seeking a dynamic Used Car Sales Manager to lead the used‑vehicle department of its New Zealand dealership. You will be responsible for driving profitability, managing inventory, and delivering an exceptional customer experience while building a high‑performing sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the used‑vehicle department.
• Source, appraise, price, and manage inventory with accuracy.
• Achieve targets for gross profit, sales volume, and finance penetration.
• Lead, coach, and motivate a high‑performing sales team.
• Monitor KPIs and implement strategies to exceed established goals.
• Ensure compliance with New Zealand consumer laws and dealership policies.

Required profile

• Proven success in automotive sales management, especially with used vehicles.
• Strong leadership ability with a track record of building and inspiring teams.
• Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
• Deep understanding of vehicle valuations, market trends, and competitive positioning.
• Results‑oriented mindset with solid commercial acumen.
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand; immediate start preferred.
