Underground Bogger Operator – Mining

About the role

Endura Mining is seeking an experienced Bogger Operator to join its underground team at the Snowy River Gold Mine on New Zealand's West Coast. This permanent, onsite position supports both development and production activities in a fast‑paced, safety‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate underground boggers and Load‑Haul‑Dump (LHD) machines safely and efficiently.
• Load and haul ore and waste material from underground headings.
• Maintain production schedules and meet daily output targets.
• Conduct pre‑start equipment inspections and complete required reports.
• Identify and report hazards, incidents, and equipment defects.
• Assist with ventilation, road maintenance, and other general underground tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with miners, truck operators, service crews, and supervisors.

Required profile

• Previous experience operating underground boggers or LHDs in a hard‑rock mining setting.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Willingness to work rotating rosters, including night shifts.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
