Uncertified Early Childhood Teacher (Full‑time, Permanent)

About the role

ACG Queenstown is looking for a passionate Uncertified Early Childhood Education (ECE) Teacher to join its vibrant early learning team. This permanent, full‑time position supports children from birth to school‑age in a setting inspired by RIE and Reggio Emilia philosophies, encouraging curiosity, exploration and collaborative learning.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Room Leaders to deliver an innovative, inquiry‑driven curriculum.
• Observe and document each child’s development to tailor personalised learning experiences.
• Create safe, engaging indoor and outdoor environments that foster exploration.
• Build respectful, strong relationships with families and involve them in their child’s learning journey.
• Contribute to a reflective, inclusive team culture and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and share fresh ideas with the team.

• A genuine passion for early childhood education and supporting young children’s development.
• Warm, respectful interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with children and whānau.
• Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced teachers.
• Strong teamwork orientation and effective communication, both verbal and written.
