UI/UX Designer – Connected Construction

About the role

Trimble is seeking a passionate UI/UX Designer to join its New Zealand team. You will create intuitive web, mobile, and desktop experiences that empower construction professionals and support the development of AI‑driven assistants.

Key responsibilities

• Design an intuitive AI assistant within the map viewer to enhance core product applications.
• Help migrate critical field‑data collection features to enterprise cloud platforms.
• Lead customer validation for interactive prototypes and gather feedback from field visits.
• Collaborate with global engineering and product teams to translate complex workflows into seamless user interfaces.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in User Experience Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or a related discipline.
• 1‑3 years of professional experience as a junior designer with a strong portfolio.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment and accept creative direction.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Figma.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
