Tyre Collection Driver

About the role

KiwiSkips is seeking a full‑time Tyre Collection Driver to join its Invercargill team. You will operate a dedicated truck to pick up used tyres from customer sites, businesses and designated collection points, ensuring timely and safe service.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the collection truck on scheduled routes across Invercargill.
• Load, secure and transport used tyres safely.
• Complete collection logs and report any issues.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Interact professionally with customers to confirm collection details.
• Coordinate with the operations team for route planning and drop‑off at approved facilities.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A (or equivalent heavy‑vehicle licence) with a clean driving record.
• Physical fitness to lift and move tyres throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to safety procedures and use of PPE.
• Ability to follow written or verbal instructions accurately.
