About the role
A recruiter is looking for a skilled driver and operator for a client in Christchurch. The role is described as a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate, with an ASAP start.
Key responsibilities
- Operate excavators and other machinery such as trucks and loaders
- Jump into trenches and help out with manual labour when required
- Work closely with the site foreman and a small, skilled team
Required profile
- Experience operating a digger up to 20t in civil construction
- Beneficial: experience in utilities, power and drainage
- Class 2 licence (Class 4 preferred)
- Valid licences, clean MOJ and passed drug test
- Reliable, able to work long hours, physically fit to help with other tasks, and able to get to work reliably
- Right to work in New Zealand
What we offer
- Pay starting from $28 depending on skills, tickets and experience
- Temp-to-perm for the right candidate
