Transcription Specialist – Australian English (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a native Australian English speaker to join our team on a contract basis. You will work remotely, reviewing and enhancing machine‑generated transcriptions and recording clear audio passages to improve AI language models.

Key responsibilities

• Review and correct English transcriptions produced by automated systems, ensuring linguistic accuracy.
• Record yourself reading transcribed passages with a natural Australian accent.
• Evaluate AI language data and suggest improvements that reflect real‑world Australian usage.
• Collaborate with the client’s team to provide feedback on transcription guidelines and audio quality.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail when spotting errors in text and audio.

Required profile

• Native‑level proficiency in both written and spoken Australian English.
• Strong knowledge of Australian phonetics, diction, and pronunciation.
• Experience in transcript correction and ability to identify inaccuracies quickly.
• Clear vocal delivery and confidence when recording audio.
• Ability to work independently in a quiet, distraction‑free environment.
