About the role
GemLab Jewellery Valuers is looking for a motivated trainee to join our North Shore team in Auckland. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in jewellery valuation while working alongside seasoned professionals.
Key responsibilities
- Assist senior valuers in inspecting and assessing jewellery pieces.
- Record detailed measurements, materials, and condition notes.
- Prepare preliminary valuation reports under supervision.
- Maintain accurate valuation records and databases.
- Support client inquiries and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Required profile
- Strong interest in jewellery and precious metals.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Willingness to learn and follow guidance from senior staff.
- Good communication skills for client interaction.
