Trade Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator

About the role

This position is essential for delivering a seamless experience to both Trade and DIY customers. You will ensure stock accuracy, efficient purchasing, and smooth order fulfilment, helping the team meet daily customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage purchasing and stock levels to guarantee product availability and accuracy.
• Forecast demand and support inventory planning.
• Prepare trade pricing, quotes, and customer orders.
• Support the Trade team to maximise sales opportunities.
• Monitor stock and coordinate timely replenishment.
• Collaborate with leaders and wider teams to achieve sales and operational targets.
• Deliver high‑level service to both Trade and retail customers.
• Maintain a safe and compliant work environment.

Required profile

• Experience in purchasing, inventory, administration, or retail (preferred).
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Collaborative, customer‑first mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Knowledge of NZ retail legislation is beneficial but not essential.
