Tourism Tutor

About the role

New Zealand School of Tourism, the country's largest private tertiary provider of training for the airline, travel and tourism industries, is hiring a Tourism Tutor on its Auckland Airport campus. This is a full-time, fixed-term position. You will deliver training to students across the Tourism courses, using existing curriculum and resources to support them in reaching their qualification and progressing their careers.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver training to students across the Tourism courses
• Facilitate learning using existing curriculum and resources
• Support students in achieving their qualification and progressing toward careers in the tourism industry

Required profile

• Proven background in the travel and tourism industry, including at least 4 years' experience, of which at least 2 years at supervisory level (must have)
• Diploma or degree in Tourism or a related field is advantageous
• Teaching experience is advantageous but not required; comprehensive learning and teaching support is provided
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Passionate and enthusiastic about sharing knowledge and supporting others
