Tourism Tutor

About the role

The Tourism Tutor will deliver tourism training to students across two campuses in Auckland, guiding them through a 16‑week programme and helping them achieve their qualifications.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver tourism course content to students at the City and Manukau campuses.
• Facilitate learning using existing curriculum and resources.
• Support students to achieve qualifications and progress in their tourism careers.
• Provide feedback, assess student performance, and maintain records.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching materials and methods.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years experience in the tourism industry, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Diploma or degree in Tourism or a related field (advantageous).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Passion for sharing knowledge and supporting diverse learners.
• Teaching experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
