About the role
The Tourism Tutor will deliver tourism training to students across two campuses in Auckland, guiding them through a 16‑week programme and helping them achieve their qualifications.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver tourism course content to students at the City and Manukau campuses.
- Facilitate learning using existing curriculum and resources.
- Support students to achieve qualifications and progress in their tourism careers.
- Provide feedback, assess student performance, and maintain records.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching materials and methods.
Required profile
- Minimum 4 years experience in the tourism industry, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Diploma or degree in Tourism or a related field (advantageous).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Passion for sharing knowledge and supporting diverse learners.
- Teaching experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
