Tour and Education Coordinator

About the role

The Tour and Education Coordinator will join Auckland Sea Kayaks Ltd’s small, outdoors‑focused team in Mount Eden, Auckland. This full‑time, on‑site position offers flexible working hours and involves coordinating tourism bookings, school programmes and the day‑to‑day operations of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and process tourism bookings, ensuring accurate records and timely communication with customers.
• Coordinate school education programmes, liaising with teachers and organising on‑water activities.
• Oversee daily operational tasks such as scheduling, equipment preparation and administrative paperwork.
• Maintain relationships with partners and suppliers to support smooth service delivery.

Required profile

• Previous experience in tourism coordination, education programme administration or a similar administrative role.
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• Comfort working in an outdoor environment and interacting with diverse groups.
