Test Engineer – Schemes (Enterprise & Pacific Payments)

About the role

As a Test Engineer – Schemes within the Enterprise and Pacific Payments tribe, you will ensure high‑quality software delivery for card‑switching and scheme‑compliance projects. You will champion quality throughout the development lifecycle, working both autonomously and as part of cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders and delivery partners to translate business needs into test strategies.
• Analyse requirements, design and execute functional and non‑functional test cases across all testing phases.
• Identify, log and manage testing risks, issues and dependencies while adhering to governance and regulatory standards.
• Communicate progress, challenges and solutions to the team and wider delivery streams.
• Mentor junior team members, share knowledge and continuously improve testing tools and processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in functional and non‑functional testing within an agile environment.
• Ability to think critically, solve complex problems and adapt to new ideas.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
