About the role
The University of Auckland is seeking a creative and organised communications professional for a temporary position. You will support a busy team by delivering digital content, managing social media, updating website material and assisting with stakeholder communications in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Create, schedule and monitor social media content across platforms.
- Coordinate and produce newsletters and other communications material.
- Update and maintain website content using the university’s CMS.
- Support marketing campaigns, events and promotional activities.
- Provide general communications and marketing assistance to the team.
Required profile
- Confident communicator with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive, able to balance multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Experience in communications, marketing or digital content roles.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Customer‑focused and comfortable meeting competing deadlines.

What we offer
- Hourly rate between $30 and $40, dependent on experience.
- Assignments ranging from four weeks to up to 12 months.
- Full‑time and part‑time hours available.
