Teller (Hire-ahead) – Spanish Speaking Preferred

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Teller to join our branch team. The role involves handling a wide range of member transactions, providing excellent service, and promoting our credit union’s products, with a preference for candidates who speak Spanish.

Key responsibilities

• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cash advances, money orders, and cashier’s checks.
• Balance daily transactions, verify cash totals, and resolve discrepancies.
• Open and close accounts, renew certificates, and assist members with bookkeeping and account maintenance.
• Cross‑sell credit union services and digital solutions, acting as a digital services expert.
• Provide member assistance through phone, mail, text, email, video solutions, and self‑serve channels.
• Maintain privacy of member information and adhere to all policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Spanish speaking preferred.
• Certified Teller capable of handling complex transactions independently.
• Ability to meet sales, volume, and service targets.
• Strong attention to detail and risk‑assessment skills.
