Tele-Remote Operator

About the role

Endura Mining is seeking a Tele‑Remote Operator to join its growing West Coast operation in New Zealand. You will operate remote‑controlled underground equipment, support production targets and uphold the company’s safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate tele‑remote Load‑Haul‑Dump (LHD) loaders and other remote‑controlled underground equipment.
• Conduct pre‑start inspections and equipment checks.
• Monitor equipment performance via remote operating systems and maximise production while adhering to safety standards.
• Identify and report equipment faults and operational hazards.
• Communicate with underground crews, maintenance personnel and supervisors using radio.
• Maintain accurate production and equipment records and complete required paperwork.

Required profile

• Previous underground mining experience.
• Experience operating LHDs, boggers or similar production equipment.
• Ability to work a 7/7 roster (days and nights).
• Current Manual Driver Licence.
• First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental compliance.
