About the role

Wakatipu High School is seeking a passionate educator to deliver Food Processing Technology to senior students (NCEA Level 3). The role is part of a collaborative, forward‑thinking team focused on providing a future‑focused, holistic education in a flexible learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess the Food Processing Technology curriculum for NCEA Level 3.
• Develop engaging, student‑centred lessons that align with the school’s vision of all‑round education.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary projects and support the broader technology learning area.
• Maintain effective professional relationships with colleagues, students and families.
• Participate in school initiatives that promote growth mindsets and progressive pedagogy.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with experience in technology or food education.
• Demonstrated commitment to student‑centred, progressive teaching practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic school community.
• Willingness to contribute to the holistic development of students.
