About the role

ANZ is looking for a Technology Project Manager to lead key technology initiatives in Auckland. You will ensure projects align with the bank’s strategic priorities, are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and meet high‑quality standards.

Key responsibilities

Lead and motivate cross‑functional teams, coordinating internal staff, vendors and contractors.
Oversee project delivery across planning, execution and change control phases.
Maintain accurate, timely reporting and transparent communication with stakeholders at all levels.
Manage project budgets, financial oversight and risk escalation.
Drive a culture of openness, trust and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

Proven experience managing end‑to‑end projects in large, complex, dynamic environments.
Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
Ability to work with business owners, stakeholders and third‑party vendors to achieve optimal outcomes.
Experience in risk, issue and dependency management.
