Technology Project Manager

About the role

Christchurch Airport is looking for an experienced Technology Project Manager to join its Digital and Technology team. You will lead end‑to‑end technology projects that support the airport’s strategic priorities and deliver tangible benefits for the business and its customers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and deliver technology projects with a customer‑focused, outcome‑driven approach.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets and milestone schedules.
• Identify, assess and manage project risks and issues to ensure successful outcomes.
• Communicate progress and escalations clearly to all stakeholders.
• Collaborate with vendors and delivery partners to support project execution.
• Ensure adherence to established delivery frameworks, governance and reporting standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery practices and tools.
• Support project prioritisation, resource planning and delivery reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end IT or technology projects.
• Strong ability to work with multiple stakeholders and external vendors.
• Excellent planning, risk management and stakeholder‑engagement capabilities.
• Effective communication and relationship‑building skills across technical and business teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with competing priorities.
• Relevant project‑management certifications or formal training.
