Technology Business Analyst

About the role

The Technology Business Analyst will join ANZ’s Funds Technology team in Auckland, supporting the platforms that power ANZ Investments products such as KiwiSaver and ANZ Investment Funds. Working closely with business and technical stakeholders, you will translate business problems into clear, traceable requirements and help deliver solutions that meet customer and regulatory expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Implement changes and enhancements for the registry platform.
• Refine and shape business requirements, identify opportunities and evaluate solution options.
• Ensure requirements are clear, traceable and aligned with desired outcomes.
• Support the full delivery lifecycle from discovery through design, build, test and release.
• Embed controls, risk considerations and regulatory obligations into solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery practices and Business Analyst capability.
• Build strong alignment among business, technology and vendor stakeholders to enable confident decision‑making.

Required profile

• Understanding of technology delivery and software development practices, with experience working in Agile environments.
• Curiosity and passion for technology, with a willingness to learn new systems, tools and ways of working.
• Experience collaborating with both business and technology stakeholders.
• Strong written, verbal and visual communication skills.
• Proficiency in elicitation techniques such as facilitating workshops and creating requirement artefacts (user stories, process maps, etc.).
