Technician – Vitamins (Laboratory)

About the role

AsureQuality is seeking a full‑time Technician to join its Vitamins Testing Team at the Auckland laboratory. You will work alongside experienced scientists in New Zealand’s largest food testing facility, carrying out vitamin analyses on food samples.

Key responsibilities

• Perform sample testing within the defined turnaround time.
• Follow all laboratory and regulatory quality‑assurance procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records for each analysis.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Work safely and contribute to a positive safety culture.
• Provide flexibility to work additional days, overtime or one weekend day as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Food Science or Medicinal Chemistry.
• Experience with analytical instrumentation such as GC or HPLC is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
• Strong attention to detail and good time‑management skills.
• Team‑oriented mindset and ability to handle repetitive tasks.
