Technical Training Manager

About the role

The Technical Training Manager will lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of technical training programs for Lam's manufacturing workforce. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, you will ensure that new hires and existing employees receive high‑quality learning experiences that support operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design, and maintain technical training courses and related documentation.
• Lead the development and implementation of certification programs to build workforce capability.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Operations to identify skill gaps and support new product introductions, production ramp‑ups, and excellence initiatives.
• Act as a strategic learning partner to manufacturing leadership, aligning training solutions with business priorities.
• Manage training records, learning management system (LMS) data, and effectiveness metrics to ensure audit readiness.
• Deploy globally aligned training standards, KPIs, and records‑management processes.
• Ensure adequate staffing and coordination of training delivery, especially during hiring ramps.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing technical training and onboarding programs in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong program‑management and organizational skills with a proactive, self‑motivated attitude.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, capable of building relationships at all levels.
• Passion for learning and commitment to developing high‑performing training teams.
