Technical Team Lead - Core Infrastructure Services

About the role

Orion Health is seeking a hands‑on Technical Team Lead to drive the design, build, and operation of its Core Infrastructure Services. You will lead a small, high‑performing team while staying deeply involved in engineering work across AWS, automation, and platform services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for AWS‑based infrastructure, automation, reliability, and platform tooling.
• Lead, mentor, and support engineers within the Core Infrastructure Services team.
• Design, build, scale, and continuously improve cloud infrastructure services.
• Set technical direction and architecture for infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms.
• Own end‑to‑end system lifecycle, including operational support and on‑call duties.
• Enable engineering teams to ship, deploy, monitor, and operate software efficiently.
• Promote DevOps, continuous delivery, security, documentation, and “build‑it‑run‑it‑own‑it” practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing, building, and operating AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Background in SRE, Platform Engineering, DevOps, or senior software engineering with an infrastructure focus.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical delivery and set project direction.
• Experience coaching or mentoring engineers.
• Strong judgment and collaborative working style.
