Technical Manager – Equipment Maintenance & Repair

About the role
Neptune Pacific is seeking a senior Technical Manager to lead Equipment Maintenance & Repair (EMR) across its multi‑site container fleet. Reporting to the Group Depot & Transport Manager, you will define and govern technical standards that ensure consistent repair, off‑hire, and disposal decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and enforce EMR standards and technical frameworks across all depots.
- Provide technical oversight of fleet performance, focusing on reefer reliability.
- Identify systemic issues, define resolutions, and drive continuous improvement.
- Own the cost‑recovery framework, establishing rules, evidence standards, and escalation pathways.
- Lead the EMR Specialist function, set priorities, and ensure consistent decision‑making.
- Define training standards for EMR specialists and maintain technical discipline.
Required profile
- 10+ years of experience in container maintenance & repair, depot operations, or fleet environments.
- Strong understanding of EMR systems, controls, and audit frameworks.
- Ability to influence outcomes across diverse teams.
- IICL certification preferred.
