Technical Integration Architect - Senior Manager

About the role

Join a high‑impact team at PwC delivering end‑to‑end integration and data architecture solutions for leading New Zealand organisations in financial services, government and large enterprise. You will be at the forefront of cloud transformation, designing and implementing scalable, secure integration platforms that connect complex ecosystems and drive real business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of cloud‑based integration and data solutions using Azure, MuleSoft and modern architecture patterns.
• Architect and implement API‑led, micro‑services and event‑driven solutions across complex enterprise environments.
• Run client workshops, define requirements and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership to ensure solutions meet security, resilience and operational standards.
• Drive adoption of DevOps, CI/CD and automation practices for efficient delivery.
• Support pre‑sales activities, contribute to proposals and build strong client relationships.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to practice growth and capability development.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience leading end‑to‑end design and delivery of data and integration solutions, including client workshops and alignment to security, reliability and Well‑Architected principles.
• Proven ability to build and manage client relationships in a commercial environment and support pre‑sales engagements.

Required skills

• Microsoft Azure: API Management, Application Gateways, Logic Apps, Functions, Fabric, AI Search, Foundry, AKS, VNets, Front Door, Web Application Firewall, Storage Services, DevOps.
• MuleSoft CloudHub.
• AWS (desirable): EKS, Bedrock, API Gateway, Storage services.
• Experience with API‑led, micro‑services and event‑driven architectures.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD and automation practices.
