Technical Consultant - SRE

About the role

ASB is looking for a Technical Consultant – SRE to help build and operate an end‑to‑end integrated testing environment. The role blends hands‑on architecture (20%) with strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement and mentoring (80%). You will guide teams, make key technical decisions and ensure reliable, secure cloud and on‑premise services.

Key responsibilities

• Meet with stakeholders to capture technical requirements and translate them into solutions.
• Design, implement and maintain Azure cloud environments and on‑prem infrastructure.
• Collaborate with service/application squads to host services, ensure integration and create test data without using production data.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using Infrastructure‑as‑Code.
• Automate security remediation, develop SOPs, knowledge‑base articles, dashboards and reporting.
• Implement monitoring, alerting and reporting for the environment.
• Own issues end‑to‑end and deliver outcomes that meet business needs.

Required profile

• Proactive problem‑solver with strong technical leadership and communication skills.
• Experienced in gathering requirements, designing pragmatic solutions and presenting concepts to diverse audiences.
• 10‑15 years of SRE or related DevOps experience.

Required skills

• Azure cloud architecture and implementation.
• On‑premise infrastructure design and management.
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates).
• Automation of deployment, security remediation and test data creation.
