Team Manager – Peer Support Café

About the role

Ember is creating a new Peer Support Café and needs a dynamic Team Manager to lead a values‑driven team. You will ensure safe, culturally responsive support is delivered when it matters most, fostering a welcoming environment for the community.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team providing peer support services.
• Design and implement service delivery processes that are safe and culturally appropriate.
• Monitor and evaluate the quality of support, making improvements as needed.
• Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to enhance service reach.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the café, including scheduling and resource allocation.

Required profile

• Strong commitment to community wellbeing and inclusive service delivery.
• Proven experience in leading teams within a service‑oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work on‑site in Grafton, Auckland.
