Team Leader – Fill Team Department

About the role

The Fill Team is essential to keeping the store running smoothly, ensuring shelves are fully stocked, surplus stock is managed, and store presentation meets high standards. As Team Leader you will guide the team day‑to‑day, manage rostering and training, oversee stock movement and collaborate with other departments to deliver an excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support the Fill Team on the shop floor.
• Create and manage weekly rosters and deliver training.
• Monitor and control stock movement, shelf replenishment and surplus handling.
• Maintain store presentation and visual standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, ladder work and operating a forklift when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading or supervising a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in stock control or inventory management.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• High level of physical fitness for regular lifting and standing.
• Forklift licence preferred but not essential.
