Team Lead, CEP BAU

About the role

IAG, the largest general insurance group in Australia and New Zealand, is looking for a Team Lead CEP BAU to lead the day-to-day operation of the Commercial Enterprise Platform. The role supports a team during a period of technology transformation while keeping the platform stable, reliable and responsive for customers and the business. It is a permanent full-time position based in Auckland, Christchurch or Wellington.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team through coaching, capability development and career growth.
• Champion agile delivery practices so teams can plan, prioritise and deliver efficiently.
• Drive day-to-day platform operations, balancing incidents, service requests, regulatory commitments and change initiatives.
• Coordinate incident, problem, change and release activities to maintain service stability.
• Build partnerships with business, product and technology teams and use performance data to improve platform health.
• Manage risks, dependencies, capacity and competing priorities, and provide governance reporting.

Required profile

• Experience leading technology, platform support or delivery teams in complex environments.
• Strong people leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage operational priorities while supporting change and transformation.
• Experience with incident, problem, change or release management and in agile delivery environments.
