About the role

Deloitte is offering a Tax & Business Advisory internship for the 2026/2027 period in Auckland. The role is designed for students in their penultimate year who want hands‑on experience delivering accounting and tax solutions to a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Provide practical accounting and tax solutions for multinational corporations, private businesses and high‑net‑worth individuals.
• Collaborate with senior professionals to deliver high‑quality client service.
• Participate in a two‑day induction to understand Deloitte’s corporate environment and expectations.

Required profile

• Currently in the penultimate year of a university degree (one year of study remaining).
• Strong interest in accounting, tax and business advisory.
• Adaptable mindset with a willingness to learn about emerging technologies such as AI.

Required skills

• Fundamental knowledge of accounting principles.
• Fundamental knowledge of tax concepts.
