Tax Associate

About the role
Join Mercer Advisors' Tax Team to provide comprehensive tax compliance services for high‑net‑worth individuals, trusts, and businesses. You will work in a collaborative, supportive environment, assisting clients with tax returns, projections, and related inquiries.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare income tax returns for high‑net‑worth individuals, trusts, and businesses.
- Create quarterly tax estimates and financial projections.
- Respond promptly and accurately to client tax questions, estimates, and analyses.
- Coordinate with tax support staff to maintain workflow efficiency and data integrity.
- Assist tax staff in handling tax notices and drafting initial correspondence.
- Stay current on tax law changes and regulatory updates.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Working knowledge of tax preparation.
- Strong passion for client service and willingness to expand tax expertise.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
