Systems Specialist – Finance Systems Support

About the role

ASB is looking for a Systems Specialist to keep its core finance and procurement platforms running smoothly. You will provide day‑to‑day support, troubleshoot complex issues and help continuously improve the reliability and scalability of the tools used by the finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide operational support for enterprise SaaS and on‑premises finance applications.
• Maintain system‑to‑system integrations such as APIs, SFTP transfers and SQL transformations.
• Collaborate with a cross‑functional agile squad to prioritize work and deliver enhancements.
• Administer Linux and Windows servers, including patching, monitoring and incident resolution.
• Work with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Oracle, Google) to ensure services are stable and performant.
• Document issues, solutions and knowledge for both technical and business stakeholders.

Required skills

• Experience supporting enterprise SaaS and on‑premises applications (2‑4 years).
• Hands‑on knowledge of system integration methods: APIs, SFTP, SQL transformations.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms – Azure, AWS, Oracle Cloud, Google Cloud.
• Understanding of Agile ways of working and collaborative delivery.
• Competence in Linux and Windows Server administration, including patching and troubleshooting.
• Strong technical and analytical troubleshooting abilities.
