About the role
The Student Support Advisor will join Te Aho o Te Kura Pounamu in Auckland CBD to empower rangatahi and shape learning pathways. Starting in January 2027, this permanent full‑time position works in a hybrid model, combining on‑site presence with flexible remote days. You will play a key part in supporting ākonga success across the region.
Key responsibilities
- Provide personalised guidance and support to students (ākonga) throughout their educational journey.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to identify and address learning barriers.
- Develop and monitor individual learning plans and pathways.
- Facilitate access to resources, services, and community partnerships.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and outcomes.

- Passion for education and student wellbeing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive team.
