Structures Foreman – Heavy Civil & Concrete Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Structures Foreman to lead heavy civil and reinforced‑concrete works on major infrastructure projects in Auckland. The role is site‑based, overseeing bridges, reservoirs, tanks and other structural elements while coordinating crews, plant and materials.

Key responsibilities

• Drive day‑to‑day structural construction activities across a portfolio of large‑scale projects.
• Lead and coordinate a crew and subcontractors to safely build bridges, retaining walls and other structures.
• Organise plant, materials and work fronts to ensure smooth progress.
• Monitor quality, safety and productivity, completing checks and paperwork.
• Work closely with site engineers and supervisors to plan work and resolve issues.
• Support and coach team members to build a high‑performing crew.
• Report progress, issues and resource needs to the supervisor.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Structures Foreman with reinforced concrete and structural steel.
• At least 8 years in civil construction on structural projects valued over $10 M, including bridge and reservoir works.
• Hands‑on background on active construction sites and experience leading small crews.
• Practical understanding of site safety, quality standards and reading construction plans.
