Strategy, Performance and Insights Manager

About the role

This senior leadership position is based in Wellington Central and reports to the executive team of a well‑respected NGO. You will help shape the organisation's strategic direction, improve performance, and deepen partnerships to maximise impact for people in need.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the overall strategy for DCM, aligning goals with mission and stakeholder expectations.
• Analyse performance data and insights to identify opportunities for operational improvement.
• Strengthen existing partnerships and cultivate new collaborations across the sector.
• Represent the organisation in high‑visibility forums to enhance sector influence.
• Lead cross‑functional teams in implementing strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in strategy, performance management or insights within a non‑profit or community‑focused environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and drive change at an organisational level.
