About the role
The Strategic Clinical Advisor will lead national efforts to improve treatment safety and prevention across Aotearoa New Zealand. This senior position works within a newly established Chief Clinical Office to shape public‑health policy and practice.
Key responsibilities
- Shape a national treatment safety and prevention programme.
- Influence health system partners through evidence‑based clinical leadership.
- Collaborate with the newly established Chief Clinical Office to drive impactful public‑health initiatives.
- Provide national public‑health leadership to strengthen treatment safety, prevention and system learning across Aotearoa New Zealand.
Required profile
- Extensive experience in clinical practice and public‑health strategy.
- Proven ability to work with government, health agencies and other system partners.
- Strong analytical and evidence‑interpretation skills.
- Leadership experience in national health programmes.

- Competitive salary range of $245,036‑$269,550 per year.
