Store Manager – Retail Leadership Role

About the role

POP MART is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead its Newmarket store. You will be responsible for overall store performance, driving sales, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience while managing day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and exceed sales budgets, growth targets, and KPIs.
• Manage store rostering, wage control, and timesheet approvals.
• Lead by example in customer service, ensuring premium, brand‑aligned experiences.
• Maintain high visual merchandising standards and effective stock presentation.
• Oversee high‑volume stock deliveries, inventory control, and loss‑prevention practices.
• Partner with HR to recruit, onboard, train, and develop team members.
• Provide clear direction, coaching, and regular performance feedback.
• Ensure consistent adherence to operational standards, policies, and procedures.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience as a Store Manager in a fast‑paced, high‑volume retail environment.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams of 15–20+ employees.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting sales targets and KPIs.
• Confidence managing complex store operations, including stock, labour, and compliance.
• Excellent eye for detail and high visual‑merchandising standards.
• Exceptional customer‑service standards and a hands‑on leadership style.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Genuine interest in pop culture, art toys, or the POP MART brand.
• Flexible availability across a 7‑day trading week.
