Store Manager – New Tesla Store Opening

About the role

We are preparing to open a brand‑new Tesla store in Newmarket, Auckland, and need an experienced Store Manager to lead the launch, build the team and drive sales. You will be the face of Tesla in the region, responsible for creating an exceptional customer experience while meeting ambitious sales and profitability targets.

Key responsibilities

• Coach, motivate and develop a retail sales team to achieve sales, delivery and productivity goals.
• Deliver EV education and product knowledge to customers, ensuring best‑in‑class service and merchandise presentation.
• Analyze sales data, set individual and store goals, and implement business strategies to maximise performance.
• Partner with Marketing to identify local events and promotions that increase brand exposure.
• Maintain store operations, facility standards and safety compliance.
• Manage customer escalations quickly and empower staff to resolve issues in line with Tesla’s mission.
• Recruit, train and develop staff, evaluate performance and plan succession for key roles.
