Store Manager – Large‑format Retail Store

About the role

Lead a high‑energy team of 10+ in a large‑format Macpac store at Te Rapa. You will own all aspects of store performance, from KPIs and stock management to rostering and results, while fostering a diverse and engaged crew.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales and achieve commercial targets.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations, including stock control, visual merchandising and health & safety compliance.
• Oversee rostering, KPI tracking and basic financial reporting.
• Maintain store security and ensure a safe shopping environment.
• Develop and motivate the team to deliver top‑tier customer service.

Required profile

• Retail management experience with a proven track record of leading by example.
• Strong ability to motivate, inspire and manage a diverse team.
• Experience in visual merchandising, stock control, health & safety, store security and basic financial reporting.
• Passion for the outdoors or travel is preferred but not essential.
